Showgirl’s VLLF Tiffany’s CharmBorn May 17th, has THE Argentine fleece – extremely dense, soft fleece that is a dark gray-brown. A white neckband and leg add just a dash of sparkle, and her personality is, of course, Argentine sweet, and just look at those gorgeous ears. Pictured above on the right, you see Tiffany with her dam, Showgirl (right) and her half-sister, Reno. |

Ready for this one?VLLF Twilight Prince, born at 8:20pm on May 20, defies the so often quoted “most llamas have their young between 10 and 2.” Twilight’s birth was heralded by neighbors who had been called to witness the grand event. He wasn’t a bit shy – getting up quickly and soliciting oohs and ahhs from the crowd. You can see why in this picture taken at two days of age.Twilight’s fiber, a rich golden brown, is silky soft with wonderful crimp. If you think he’s lovely now, you ‘ain’t seen nothin’ yet!’ Twilight loves everyone and everything – including Ice, who patiently put up with his interloping on her grazing area! Obviously, Ice was readying for the self-control she’ll need with her own cria who arrived three weeks later, VLLF Testimony. |

VLLF TestimonyTess is going to set the fields on fire with her antics and personality. She comes up to us when we get into the field and vocalizes her happiness at our company. Her dappled neck and leg and her gray face make her a beautiful tri-colored half-Argentine wonder. Silky soft, long fleece with lovely crimp make up the rest of the story. |

the Very Little Llama Farm's
stud on premises....
Argentine Paco X Argentine Malin
ILR #203993 ~ DOB 7/20/1998
Want new genes in your Argentine bloodlines? Look no further than Gustavo who, unlike the very well known bloodlines of Don Zunca and Kobra, has a fairly rare lineage in the United States. Breeding for his genes will, therefore, bring a degree of diversity tht breeding to other Argentine studs may not. Lynda Carothers has stated:
"Gustavo has the great Argentine look and build - heavy leg bone, robust build, dense fine fiber and good dispositon."
Check out our Herdsires Page for more information on this outstanding stud who will bring an entirely new genealogy to your breeding program. You may contact the Very Little Llama Farm for reservations/more information.

Living in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia is proving to be the most wonderful experience and an ideal location in which to raise our elegant, inquisitive and personable miniature llamas. We hope you will enjoy our website. We are delighted when people call to set up a time to stop by our farm and personally meet these jewels of the camelid family. If it’s impossible for you to come here for an up-close-and-personal viewing, we trust the pictures and descriptions herein will enable you to get a good idea of the animals we have for breeding purposes and for sale. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have or to inquire about a specific animal in which you may have an interest, even if they might not be on our for sale page. We do our best to accommodate those who have an interest in our animals.
Since we limit the number of llamas on our farm to no more than 15 permanent residents, we can guarantee all our llamas are given a great deal of personal, hands-on attention, something large- sized farms may wish to accomplish but can’t always practice and provide. Cria are trained to the halter and lead at only a few weeks of age, with mama walking alongside for a calming effect. This helps to show the cria there is no reason to be frightened of us. Since we have already had our hands all over the cria at the time of its birth, or within a few hours time, once we begin to groom, clip toenails, worm, etc., the cria’s exposure to early-on human interaction makes it a much less traumatic experience. This is reinforced every time we work with them. The rapport that is established – and that is continued as they mature – benefits them, us and you, the potential purchaser. We do the work; you reap the benefits. |
