| Polaris, seen on our Home Page as a newborn cria, is now showing off his conformation with his new summer cut. He's a charmer with a very easy-to-work with personality. We can brush, clip, shear and cut toenails on Polaris while he stands quietly, but put him in the field with his buddy, Cole (following) and you have a duo that is pure boy. Polaris has lovely dark soft fiber and stands very correct. His mom (a Bolivian Makin' Whoppee daugher) is one we can groom in the pasture, so ... if you’re looking for a miniature female who is easy to work with as well as beautiful to look at - and with great miniature bloodlines - check out Heaven’s Heather on our 'For Sale' page. Cole was, we thought, going to be very, very dark (as in “char-cole”)… and, although his name stuck, his fiber has lightened up to a burnished honey while his head and legs have retained the darkness. He’s a beauty of a boy with extremely soft, luxurious fiber that has an added bonus of crimp. Cole has become a favorite with our grandchildren as he comes right up for scratches and to give kisses. Cole, as well as his mom, are on our ‘For Sale’ page. Purchased as a package or separately, they’ll be sure to grace your pasture. Both stand very erect with tail and head held high at all times. |
